@FlashMorgan the way the Home Screen on the iPad rotates is a good example. Not really possible on the wider aspect iPhone

@FlashMorgan just saying with 3:4, you can make a "row of controls" fit pretty easily when rotated. Harder with 16:9, shrink or re-position

@FlashMorgan anyway I guess movies suck (I don't use my iPad for movies), but the apps I use benefit from 4:3. And I'll take your bet ;)

@FlashMorgan of course you can fit things by shrinking, that's not very practical when you have UI elements you want to remain the same size
