@sowrey you guys are knocking MS/IE (and deservedly so), but HTML5's design largely makes such concerns surprisingly moot

@humantorch @sowrey the main new html5 thing that IE doesn't support is styling arbitrary tags (ie, <header>), and there's scripts for that

@humantorch @sowrey html5 codifies stuff that has ALWAYS worked, but has been defined as "invalid". It reflects current browser reality

@humantorch @sowrey but that's the beauty of it, most "new" stuff in HTML5 (eg, <!DOCTYPE html>) ALREADY WORKS in IE. It's designed that way
