DrupalCon - Friday Code Sprint

Thursday marked the end of DrupalCon CPH proper, but there was an optional "Code Sprint" on Friday for those who were interested.  The idea was to get a whole bunch of developers together to help propel Drupal 7 closer to launch-readiness.

At the start of the week, to be honest I really didn't plan on going.  I had Friday and Saturday to do whatever I wanted before my flight back to Calgary on Sunday morning, and since it was my first time in Europe I was intent on spending both of them exploring Copenhagen. That was the start of the week...

DrupalCon - Monday

While the conference proper didn't start until Tuesday, there was some stuff going on Monday, including a bar-camp style "Unconference", and a number of full-day training sessions, of which I attended the "Drupal Powered E-commerce" one, which was put on by Commerce Guys, a shop that specializes exclusively in building e-commerce sites using Drupal.

Copenhagen Panorama

Attempted a panorama of the view from my hotel in Copenhagen. Downtown is on the left, with Christianshavn across the river in front. (Map)

Journey to Copenhagen

Got to the airport nearly two hours early for once; as anyone who knows me can attest, I tend to show up as late as I can possibly get away with for just about everything. Call it a lifestyle.

After checking in, I wandered around the airport for a while looking for shit to buy that might prove useful for the trip.

Fr1st p0st!

Well, I finally managed to get my blog online. At 3am in a hotel room in Copenhagen, no less. (I wonder if a foreign birth will cause any problems if my blog decides to run for president one day? These are the kinds of things I think about at 3am in hotel rooms in Copenhagen.)
